The project assisted SMEs in food processing and process automation industries in Denmark, Germany and the United Kingdom with information on long-term market access and co-operation opportunities in Vietnam. Companies in the food processing and food process automation industries have consistently expressed interest in building long term co-operation relations with complementary businesses in Vietnam, where the opportunities for mutual benefit are clearly seen in fields of technology transfer, subcontracting and strengthening of supply chains, mutual market access and global partnerships.
Partners have provided information on business requirements and legislation in Vietnam as well as cultural obstacles in long-term co-operation and contacts and have identified more than 40 potential partners.
