The objective is to educate professionals at two national universities on a Diploma level developing students’ export skills in order to improve their personal competences as well as strengthening Bolivian companies’ competitiveness in international markets. The Diploma is based on an innovative co-operation between two private universities and two business chambers in Santa Cruz and La Paz respectively. The Diploma provides students with a unique opportunity to combine academic studies with practical experience in real companies with internships, coaching and final export assignments.
The objective is reached by teaching students and export managers in export skills and internationalisation with focus on the EU countries. Training of local teachers for the Diploma.
This objective is further reached by training of private sector consultants from the business organisations and establishing Advisory Units and institution building among Bolivian business organizations offering coaching for the Diploma’s export assignments and export advisory service to Bolivian companies. The purpose is to secure a continuous improvement of export skills among local companies.
