The Bangladesh Information Technology Management Programme BITMAP is designed to upgrade the skill and capacity of the staff within the organisation BASIS, in order to enable them in a professional way, to develop and provide a range of business services to their member companies.

Longer term aims through the capacity building are to consolidate the organisation and to enable them to operate as a more professional business organisation, with the ability to promote Bangladeshi businesses access to European companies.

Brief description of services provided

The project includes the organisational development of BASIS and the implementation of a pilot training programme for the ICT sector member companies in Bangladesh.

The project is based on a “training the trainers” concept and will provide a combination of theoretical, modular based training, combined with practical problem solving in BASIS and in companies and supported continuously by professional consultants.
