International Department has a professional staff of experienced consultants each with hands-on experience both in Denmark and abroad. Thus, having a wide, practical knowledge of the conditions on the domestic as well as on the global markets, we are able to provide companies with relevant advice in matters of internationalization and globalization.

Head of Department Jens Kvorning holds a Master in Economics and Business Administration. He works with policy development in export promotion, globalization and the private sector in developing countries. He has many years of experience in business-to-business co-operations, especially in the areas of outsourcing, business delegations, export promotion, evaluations and appraisal. In recent years Jens Kvorning has focused his work on capacity building of SME organisations in the developing countries and in Eastern Europe.

Head of Projects Tine Bork holds a Bachelor in International Business Administration. She works primarily with Danida's B2B Programme projects, feasibility and sector studies, and is B2B country responsible for projects in Vietnam and Nepal. Furthermore she is project manager for TechChange events and delegation visits within ICT, textile, furniture, crafts, and food industries. Tine Bork also works with institutional capacity building and development of tools for SME organisations in developing countries.

Head of Projects Henriette Kahré Freris holds a Master in Business Administration and a B.A. Examination in Modern Greek. She works with Danida's Business-to Business programme, feasibility and sector studies and is B2B country responsible for projects in Bangladesh and South Africa. She also works with strategic business development, outsourcing, business delegations, corporate social responsibility projects, institutional building and export development training and plans for companies.

Project Manager Ane Glud Iversen holds a M.Sc. in Public administration and is certified in project management. She works primarily with projects supported by Danida’s Business-to-Business programme and TechChange delegation events, and she is B2B country responsible for projects in Egypt, Ghana and Mozambique. She also provides advice to EU businesses through Enterprise Europe Network. Moreover Ane Glud Iversen participates in institution and capacity building projects in Russia and Nicaragua.

Project Manager Susanne Baden holds a B.Com Marketing and Trilingual Commercial Correspondent, English and German. She works with collective and official export promotion, business promotion, and is organising study tours. In addition, she is the editor of DFSME's international newsletter and coordinates DFSME’s participation in Enterprise Europe Network.

Department Secretary Pia Kongsbak holds a higher preparatory examination and Basic Commercial Course (HGS). Apart from working as the department secretary she works as an assistant for IFAG and The Danish Federation of Tailors. Furthermore Pia Kongsbak works as coordinator for TechChange delegation events.

Head of Projects Henning Høy Nygaard holds a degree in M.Sc. Geography and International Development Studies. He is Business Development Manager and responsible for consultancy within the area of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Moreover Henning Høy Nygaard is responsible for Export Promotion and Education Programme (EXPEP) and he is Project Manager for SUSBIZ India working with 16 buyers and suppliers in Denmark and India.

Project Manager Henrik Amlund Nygaard holds a Master in Political Science and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (organisation and management). His primary work areas are Danida's Bussiness-to-business programme projects, feasibility and sector studies, and he is B2B country responsible for projects in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. Moreover Henrik Amlund Nygaard works with the new B2B Environment programme in China.

Head of Projects Steffen Thomsen holds a Master in International Economics and Business Administration. He is Project Manager for the department’s activities under Danida's B2B Programme and B2B country responsible for projects in Bolivia and Nicaragua. Steffen Thomsen also works with the Export Promotion & Education Programme (EXPEP), activities in Latin America, development of feasibility studies and TechChange delegation events.
